Alexandre Garèse is a French entrepreneur and businessman. He founded Enerxia and Kouros in 2016, and he is the ultimate beneficial owner of the two companies dedicated to energy transition and innovative technologies.

He studied International Business Law and graduated from La Sorbonne, Pantheon-Assas and Nanterre University. He has worked as an international lawyer in Moscow for 25 years where he established the “Seeberg, Stabreit, and Garese” law firm in 1995. There he had the opportunity to work for its clients on the restructuration of Russian energy companies and, later, in the 2000’s, on the privatization of energy companies in Ukraine.

Alexandre is an investor in a number of different fields all related to environmental protection and sustainability, from healthy food to energy.

He is a keen polo player, a yoga practitioner, and a lover of nature and art.

Joost Mees has been Managing Director of Enerxia SA in Luxembourg since October 2016.

He currently holds several independent board positions with unregulated entities in Luxembourg. In 2013, together with three other partners, he founded Exequtive Partners S.A., a boutique corporate services firm which combines the experience and sophistication of a large firm with a personalized approach.

Previously, in 2007, he moved to Luxembourg and worked in several roles within TMF Luxembourg, including head of business development for the Benelux region.

Joost began his career in the financial services industry in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles in a legal and commercial role with ABN Amro Trust in 2003.

Joost holds a Master’s degree in Dutch Corporate Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
